Mrs. Rachel L. Meredith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for working with children and young adults. She has over 6 years of diverse experience as an outpatient therapist, long-term residential therapist, and a school social worker. Rachel uses evidence-based treatment models to ensure the highest quality of care, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT), and dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT). She is passionate about using a systemic approach for all young people and is interested in learning more about them through individual, parent, school, and mentor input if necessary. She has been trained in TFCBT and feels privileged to help young people and their families cope with traumatic experiences.
Rachel graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, loving on her dogs, “Jeepin’” around the coast, and upcycling furniture.
