Dr. Kristi Mong is a licensed psychologist who relocated to the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina to contribute to the provision of mental health services. She specializes in comprehensive assessment and diagnostic services for individuals seeking solutions for personal and professional growth. Dr. Mong’s expertise lies in conducting thorough assessments for individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood to the elderly, culminating in clear and insightful reports. She empowers clients to proactively address challenges and achieve their goals.
Dr. Mong’s career on the Gulf Coast spans nearly two decades. Prior to moving to the Coast, she obtained a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and a Ph.D. in psychology from Mississippi State University while working with youth and families in residential facilities and juvenile detention centers. Following her doctoral studies, she applied her skills in a psychiatric hospital setting providing services to a wide range of clients. Her educational pursuits also include a Post-Doctoral Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology. She has been in private practice on the Gulf Coast since 2007. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr.
Mong enjoys spending her leisure time with family and engaging in outdoor activities.
