The Assessment Process
When you contact us, you will receive a call back within 24 hours. During this call, we will discuss your concerns, answer questions you may have, and go over costs associated with the assessment. We can also schedule your testing session during this call. Once your appointment has been made, you’ll receive a welcome packet via email. Please complete and return the forms in advance of the appointment, so we can review the content together during the intake session.
At the initial visit, we’ll review the client’s history, answer any questions that you may have, and discuss how an evaluation would be beneficial. We will then begin the assessment which may be completed during one visit or a few, depending on the test taker’s individual situation.
After completing the assessment, we will put together a comprehensive report that describes the results of our testing measures as well as our interpretation of information provided by parents, educators, and other caregivers. When appropriate, a diagnosis may also be included, We’ll also include our recommendations based upon the needs of the individual. In most cases, we will schedule a follow up appointment to go over the results in detail and answer any questions you may have.
